Curtis Studio, the recording label of Curtis Institute of Music, brings the artistry and innovation of the school’s renowned and inspiring alumni, faculty, and students to audiences around the world. The label showcases the breadth of music at Curtis, presenting classics in new contexts, notable interpretations, as well as commissions and new works. Recordings are available on all major digital streaming platforms.
About Project CSO
Every Curtis Symphony Orchestra rehearsal is a step in the journey towards musical excellence. Following weeks of rehearsal, collaboration, and artistic refinement, Curtis Symphony Orchestra musicians come together for a final reading led by Director of Orchestral Studies James Ross—streamed live from Gould Rehearsal Hall.
As emerging artists prepare for careers on the world’s stages, orchestral projects offer essential opportunities to study, explore, and master great works through hands-on experience.
