Curtis Symphony Orchestra

Emerging virtuosos all, the musicians of the Curtis Symphony Orchestra meld into an expression of something much greater. Add internationally renowned conductors and sparkling repertoire, and the result is an immersive experience with unique resonance. The ensemble presents 3 subscription performances each year in Verizon Hall on the Kimmel Cultural Campus.

Curtis Opera Theatre

Curtis Opera Theatre returns in the fall with a performance slate that includes The Dangerous Liaisons. This tale of jealousy, seduction, and cruelty has captivated audiences for more than 200 years.

Ensemble 20/21

Ensemble 20/21 highlighted their 2021-22 season with a portrait concert of some of composer Tania León’s most impactful works.

A vital personality on today’s music scene, León led master classes, coached student musicians for public performances, and so much more during her turn as Curtis’s artist in residence this past season.

Student Recital Series

The Student Recital Series provides a platform for exceptional young musicians as well as free opportunities for audiences to indulge in a season-long showcase of artistry.

Student artists perform solo and chamber works for in-person audiences with weekly digital broadcasts available.

Family Concerts

Curtis Family Concerts are designed as a fun introduction to classical music for children ages five to twelve. The interactive presentations offer stories, music, and inspiration especially designed for our youngest listeners.
