Summer Programs
During the summer, Curtis Institute of Music hosts a number of camps and intensives for young musicians interested in both developing their skills and knowledge and learning more about Curtis. Many eventual Curtis students enjoyed their first experience at the school during a summer program.
Below, you can find out more about current workshops and camps being hosted by Curtis during the summer.
Curtis Summer Organ Intensive
The Curtis Summer Organ Intensive is designed to give the exceptional high school organ student a variety of opportunities to broaden and strengthen their skills. The 7-day camp provides daily lessons in repertoire, improvisation, harpsichord and conducting with Curtis faculty members and includes a trip to Longwood Gardens and organ tours of famous local instruments.
The program resumes June 14–June 20, 2026, in celebration of our new concert instrument built by the Dobson Pipe Organ Builders, Opus 100.
Dover Quartet Workshop
The Dover Quartet String Quartet Workshop is currently paused. We look forward to welcoming students to apply in future years.
