Nicholas Csicsko

Nicholas Csicsko is the Managing Director of Investments at Trinity Church Wall Street, where he oversees the Church’s investment portfolio, serving as generalist while leading its public equity and hedge fund strategies. Prior to joining Trinity, Nicholas was a member of the investment team at the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.

Originally trained as a composer, Nicholas transitioned to finance after earning a B.A. from Indiana University and both an M.M. and Ph.D. from The Juilliard School. He also holds the CFA and CAIA designations.

Alongside his work in finance, Nicholas remains active as a musician, writer, and educator. He is the author of Iconic Composers, a book introducing readers of all ages to fifty groundbreaking composers from the past millennium of Western classical music, and has served on the faculty of The Juilliard School teaching ear training and music history. His current scholarship explores the economic and financial forces shaping composers’ lives and creative work. Nicholas also currently serves as Board Chair of Chamber Music America.
