Those years of study have left him keenly aware of a signature challenge when performing Beethoven’s music, so beloved and widely known by audiences: “How do I capture that quality of wonder, having spent hundreds of hours practicing it over the past 20 years?” Learn more as Mr. Biss explores his approach to this famed work, before he performs it with the Curtis Symphony Orchestra on their upcoming United States tour.
