Curtis Opera Theatre’s spring staging of George Frideric Handel’s Ariodante revealed the interpretive challenges and rewards of the composer’s music. Acclaimed director Omer Ben Seadia and conductor David Stern, a noted Baroque music authority, make a case for presenting this 288-year-old opera in the twenty-first century.
