Application Deadline Approaches on Feb. 15 for the Daniel W. Dietrich II Young Alumni Fund
Are you a young Curtis alum seeking support for an artistic project or professional pursuit? Apply to the Daniel W. Dietrich II Young Alumni Fund, which provides project-based grants of up to $10,000.
“These funds catalyzed a multi-year, life-changing creative process for me,” says Jazimina Creamer-MacNeil (Opera ’14), a 2024 Young Alumni Fund grantee. “The encouragement from my alma mater for a project that’s far afield from my training as an opera singer meant [so much] to me. The unwavering support I received during my time in Curtis’ opera department continues, even as my work is taking a new form.”
Jazimina received career support—a grant category which supports her professional and artistic development, purchase new musical instruments, cover travel expenses—for her project Root Song, which invites audiences to listen beyond our species and rediscover the ancient wisdom of trees.
