This past semester has been full of exciting changes and additions to the Curtis community. In September, we finished a three-month renovation of the historic townhouse-turned-office building at 1718 Locust Street, reopening it just in time for the fall 2025 semester.

We also welcomed a wave of appointments to our teaching studios—including internationally-acclaimed pianist Yuja Wang (Piano ’08)—and welcomed a new Opus 100 organ to Field Concert Hall, which will be unveiled in March 2026. Read on for more details on these exciting updates.
