This exciting collaboration with Curtis on Tour showcases a unique ensemble of winds and strings, performing expansive chamber music works by Beethoven and Penderecki. The ensemble is led by two Curtis alumni: Austrian violinist Benjamin Schmid, recognized as one of today’s most versatile artists; and Gabriel Kovach, principal horn of the Phoenix Symphony.

This program will be performed in cities across the country during November 2019 as part of Curtis on Tour, the Nina von Maltzahn global touring initiative of the Curtis Institute of Music. View the complete schedule.
