This program shares works by prolific baroque composer Georg Philipp Telemann and 20th-century polymath Vincent Persichetti (Conducting ’39), and music inspired by French impressionism and American female painters including Mary Cassatt and Georgia O’Keeffe.

Meet Our Faculty
Richard Woodhams served as principal oboe of the Philadelphia Orchestra from 1977 until his retirement in 2018. Mr. Woodhams is a 1968 graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music, where he studied with John de Lancie, and joined the faculty in 1985.
