After years of study, members of the class of 2022 share their talents and passion through a final graduation recital. Admission requires advance reservation and is complimentary.
Join Jamison Hillian for his graduation recital. His program moves from past to present, beginning with Telemann and Schumann. Jamison continues with Poulenc, and ends his program with Nielsen’s capturing Fantasy Pieces.

About the Performers
Jamison Hillian, from Chesterfield, S.C., entered the Curtis Institute of Music in 2018 and studies oboe with Katherine Needleman, Toyin Spellman-Diaz, Elizabeth Koch Tiscione, Philippe Tondre, and Robert Walters. All students at Curtis receive merit-based, full-tuition scholarships, and Mr. Hillian is the Stanley and Bertha Rogasner Fellow.
Mr. Hillian has performed at Carnegie Hall as a member of the Charlotte Symphony Youth Orchestra. He has also played with the South Carolina All State Band and the Honor Band of America. He has attended the Brevard Music Center Summer Festival and Round Top Festival Institute.
Mr. Hillian began playing oboe at age 14. He previously studied with Erica Cicé of the Charlotte Symphony. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, reading, and studying foreign languages.
