About the Artists
Jessie Zixi Deng, from Pingxiang, China, studying organ with Jeffrey Brillhart and Alan Morrison, is the Gie and Lisa Liem Organ Fellow and entered Curtis in 2025.
Hanna Jang, from Korea, studying viola with Roberto Díaz and Edward Gazouleas, is a Jean J. Sterne Fellow and entered Curtis in 2025.
TaeYeon Kim, from Seoul, studying cello with Nicholas Canellakis, Yumi Kendall, Christine Lee, and Peter Wiley, is the Jacqueline du Pré Memorial Fellow and entered Curtis in 2022.
Elijah Orlenko, from Toronto, studying piano with Michelle Cann, is the Wike Family Fellow and entered Curtis in 2023.
Zhiyuan Qian, from Shanghai, studying violin with Erin Keefe, is a Curtis Institute of Music Fellow and entered Curtis in 2025.
