Curtis Institute of Music students perform over 100 free recitals during the school year, held on most Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings. Admission requires advance registration and is complimentary.

About the Artists
Eric Davidson, from Edmonton, Alberta, studying oboe with Katherine Needleman and Philippe Tondre, is a Curtis Institute of Music Fellow and entered Curtis in 2025.
Corina Deng, from Vancouver, British Columbia, studying violin with Ida Kavafian, is the Mundheim Family Fellow and entered Curtis in 2022.
Xuanyan Jessie Gong, from Shanghai, studying piano with Robert McDonald, is a Curtis Institute of Music Fellow and entered Curtis in 2025.
Javlon Khayitov, from Tashkent, Uzbekistan, studying bassoon with Julia Harguindey and Daniel Matsukawa, is the Carrie L. Tolson Memorial Fellow and entered Curtis in 2025.
Devin O’Brien, from Mount Pleasant, S.C., studying double bass with Edgar Meyer and Hal Robinson, is the Thomas and Patricia Vernon Fellow and entered Curtis in 2024.
Juliet Renée Rand (Voice ’25), from Southold, N.Y., studying opera with Elliot Madore, is the Barbara Moskow Fellow and first entered Curtis in 2021.
Dongyoung Jake Shim (’24), from Seoul, studying violin with Pamela Frank and Ida Kavafian, is the Dorothea and Ray Posel Fellow and first entered Curtis in 2022.
