About the Performers

Simon Bakos, from Mason, Ohio, a student of Anthony McGill, is the Ruth and Eugene Helmer Fellow and entered Curtis in 2020. 

Fiona Yangyue Cheen, from Jingzhou City, China, a student of Meng-Chieh Liu, is the Jean J. Sterne Fellow and entered Curtis in 2023 

Emily Damasco, from Glen Mills, Pa., a student of Dolora Zajick, is the Carol S. and Howard L. Lidz Fellow and first entered Curtis in 2018.   

Juliet Rand, from Southold, N.Y., a student of Sherry Overholt, is the Barbara Moskow Fellow and entered Curtis in 2021.   

Kai-Lang Yang, from Taipei, Taiwan, a student of Meng-Chieh Liu, is a Curtis Institute of Music Fellow and entered Curtis in 2023 

Himari Yoshimura, from Tokyo, a student of Ida Kavafian, is a Curtis Institute of Music Fellow and entered Curtis in 2022.
