Curtis on Tour in Athens, Greece
Curtis on Tour returns to Athens, Greece, for the sixth year as the resident ensemble at the Nights of Classical Music at the Gennadius Library festival, presented by the Schwarz Foundation in collaboration with the American School of Classical Studies at Athens.
Liza Ferschtman (Violin ’00) and faculty member Edward Gazouleas (Viola ’84) are joined by emerging artists to perform favorite string quintets of Beethoven and Mendelssohn, and a work by Michael Djupstrom (Composition ’11) commissioned specifically for this tour.
