Alumni perform Poulenc, Shostakovich, and Fauré
An all-alumni ensemble performs a program of Poulenc, Shostakovich, and Fauré. The program opens with Poulenc’s passionate Sonata for violin and piano and Shostakovich’s expressive Sonata for cello and piano. Violinist Elissa Lee Koljonen, cellist Yumi Kendall, and pianist Ying Li are joined by violist and Curtis President Roberto Díaz in the second half to perform Fauré’s shimmering and elegant Piano Quartet in C minor.
