Curtis Opera Theatre‘s sold-out production of Gaetano Donizetti’s bel canto comic masterpiece, The Elixir of Love (L’elisir d’amore), was a hit. Led by Metropolitan Opera director Sarah Ina Meyers, acclaimed conductor Christian Capocaccia, internationally-renowned scenic designer Cameron Anderson, and award-winning costume designer Whitney Locher, this clever steampunk and Victorian Era-inspired production invited audiences to enter the fantastical mind of inventor and scientist Adina, the opera’s genius heroine.
