Himari Yoshida Makes Boston Symphony Orchestra and Tanglewood Debuts
The violin student performed Mozart's first violin concerto with the BSO at Tanglewood on July 26.
Congratulations to violin student Himari Yoshida, a Curtis Institute of Music Fellow, on making her Boston Symphony Orchestra and Tanglewood debuts with conductor Andris Nelsons this summer. She performed Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 1 with the ensemble on July 26.
“I feel grateful to share music in a place that has meant so much to generations of artists,” Himari said in a recent interview for Berkshire Edge. “At the same time, I try not to think too much about the pressure—I just focus on communicating through the violin and enjoying every moment on stage.”
