About the Artists
Jackson Howard, from Chilliwack, British Columbia, studying trombone with Nitzan Haroz and Matthew Vaughn, is the David H. Springman Memorial Fellow and entered Curtis in 2024.
Rubén Acuña González, from Tampico, Mexico, studying timpani and percussion with Ji Su Jung, Don Liuzzi, and Eric Millstein, is an Edwin B. Garrigues Fellow and entered Curtis in 2024.
Alexandra Cooreman (’25), from Brussels, studying violin with Ida Kavafian and Erin Keefe, is a Milka Violin Artist Fellow and first entered Curtis in 2021.
Maxence Dauriat, from Combs-la-Ville, France, studying timpani and percussion with Ji Su Jung, Don Liuzzi, and Eric Millstein, is the Richard A. Doran Fellow and entered Curtis in 2023.
Delvan Lin, from Auckland, New Zealand, studying piano with Michelle Cann, is the Karolyn Kirksey Holler Fellow and entered Curtis in 2023.
