Curtis Institute of Music students perform over 100 free recitals during the school year, held on most Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings. Admission requires advance registration and is complimentary.

About the Artists
Xuanyan Jessie Gong, from Shanghai, studying piano with Robert McDonald, is a Curtis Institute of Music Fellow and entered Curtis in 2025.
Gavin Hardy, from Winston-Salem, N.C., studying double bass with Edgar Meyer and Hal Robinson, is the Anthony B. Creamer III Fellow and entered Curtis in 2024.
Hairui Lei, from Shanghai, studying violin with Shmuel Ashkenasi and Pamela Frank, is a Jean J. Sterne Fellow and entered Curtis in 2022.
Zhiyuan Qian, from Shanghai, studying violin with Erin Keefe, is a Curtis Institute of Music Fellow and entered Curtis in 2025.
Samuel Tatsuki, from Arcadia, Calif., studying viola with Roberto Díaz and Edward Gazouleas, is a Curtis Institute of Music Fellow and entered Curtis in 2025.
