Ticket Information

Single tickets are available through the Kimmel Center Box Office at (215) 893-1999 (daily from 9 a.m.–8 p.m.) or at KimmelCenter.org. Ticketing fees may apply. 

Single tickets are available through Opera Philadelphia Guest Services at (215) 732-8400 (Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.–5 p.m.) or at OperaPhila.org.  Ticketing fees may apply. 

Single tickets are available through Curtis Patron Services at (215) 893-7902 (Monday through Friday from 10 a.m.–5 p.m.) or at Curtis.edu/Performances. Tickets will be mailed within two weeks of placing an order. Tickets purchased less than a week in advance of a performance will be held at the Patron Services table at the venue beginning one hour prior to the performance.

Subscription packages offer an average savings of 30% off single ticket prices. Subscriptions are available each season for the Curtis Symphony Orchestra, Curtis Opera Theatre, and Curtis Presents series.


Subscription sales for the 2017–18 season have ended. Check back in late spring for information on the 2018–19 season.

The Curtis Institute of Music is pleased to offer a voucher to Philadelphia area community organizations, valid for complimentary tickets to Curtis Symphony Orchestra performances and select Curtis Opera Theatre productions. Participating organizations include the Philadelphia Music Alliance for Youth, Art-Reach, and Action Wellness.

Members of these organizations can sign up to receive a voucher, redeemable at the Kimmel Center Box Office prior to select performances. Vouchers are valid for two tickets per performance, subject to availability. E-mail tickets@curtis.edu to sign up today!

The Curtis Institute of Music offers $10 student tickets to all Curtis Symphony Orchestra performances, Curtis Presents recitals, and select Curtis Opera Theatre productions.

Ticket procedures:

Curtis Symphony Orchestra concerts: Tickets may be purchased at any time at the Kimmel Center Box Office. Must present valid student ID; one ticket per person.

Curtis Presents recitals: Tickets may be purchased at the Patron Services table beginning one hour prior to each Curtis Presents recital. Must present valid student ID; one ticket per person.

Lost or Misplaced Tickets

If you lose your subscription, Curtis Presents, or Family Concert tickets, contact Curtis Patron Services at (215) 893-7902 or tickets@curtis.edu to arrange for replacement tickets at no cost. If you lose tickets purchased from the Kimmel Center Box Office or the Opera Philadelphia Guest Services Office, please contact those organizations directly.

Inclement Weather Policy

The Curtis Institute of Music is committed to honoring its performance schedule. Whenever possible, performances will proceed as scheduled despite weather conditions and traffic delays. It is rare for a performance to be canceled due to inclement weather. However, in such an event we will post information on our website, social media, and phone line; and we will make every effort to contact all affected ticket holders. If a performance is still scheduled, but inclement weather makes it impossible for you to attend, please contact Curtis Patron Services at (215) 893-7902. Our patron services manager will help you consider your options. Tickets are non-refundable.
