Playing with spirit and joy, Curtis students are dedicated to collaboration, creativity, and stretching musical boundaries. Follow them as they step outside the concert hall to offer their artistry in unusual venues and community programs everywhere.

Curtis Chamber Orchestra

For over two decades, the Curtis Chamber Orchestra has been appearing with PCMS, spotlighting this esteemed conservatory’s best and brightest talent in large-ensemble repertoire. A program of classical and romantic works offers Mendelssohn’s Midsummer’s Night Dream Overture, Haydn’s singular Drumroll Symphony, and a late, unfinished masterpiece by Schubert.

Music in the Galleries

Presented by the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Curtis musicians perform innovative solo and chamber programs in various galleries, exploring the fascinating relationship between music and art. Free with museum admission.

Curtis at Longwood Gardens

The Curtis Institute of Music takes its remarkable young talents to Kennett Square, Pa. for recitals accompanied by views of the seasonal glories of Longwood Gardens. Tickets are free with Longwood Gardens admission. Visit longwoodgardens.org for more information.
