Update on Curtis Symphony Orchestra "Perry, Tchaikovsky, and Sheng" Concerts

Performances at Immaculata University (Jan. 28) and Verizon Hall (Jan. 29) will not take place this weekend

Out of an abundance of caution, this weekend’s Curtis Symphony Orchestra: Perry, Tchaikovsky, and Sheng concerts will not take place as scheduled due to COVID-19 close contact protocols. The following performances are affected:

  • Sat., Jan. 28 at 2 p.m., Immaculata University: This performance has been canceled and refunds will be issued to the point of sale within the next 5-10 business days. If you would rather donate the cost of your ticket back to the school, please contact tickets@curtis.edu.
  • Sun., Jan. 29 at 2 p.m., Verizon Hall, Kimmel Center: Our team is working now to reschedule this concert for later this spring. Once the details are announced, all tickets will be honored for the new date. If you are unable to attend the new date, information on refunds will be communicated once the new date is announced.

All other performances are unaffected and will proceed as planned.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We are disappointed that we are unable to perform this weekend, but protecting the health and safety of the community is our top priority. We hope to see you at another Curtis performance soon and sincerely thank you for your support.

Ticket holders to any affected performance who have questions should contact the Curtis Patron Services Team at tickets@curtis.edu or by phone at (215) 717-3181.
