Jennifer Higdon (Composition ’88) has received the 2020 Grammy for Best Contemporary Classical Composition for her Harp Concerto. The concerto—performed by Yolanda Kondonassis, Ward Stare, and the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra for the award-winning recording—represents her third Grammy award. She last won in 2018 for her Viola Concerto, performed by Curtis president Roberto Díaz.
