Anthony McGill Named Artistic Director of Juilliard Prep’s Music Advancement Program

Mr. McGill graduated from Curtis in 2000 and serves on the clarinet faculty.

Anthony McGill (Clarinet ’00) has been appointed artistic director of the Music Advancement Program (MAP) for the Juilliard School’s preparatory division, where he has served as artistic advisor since 2017. In this new role, Mr. McGill will serve students from backgrounds that are typically underrepresented in classical music and will work closely with fellow Curtis alumnus and dean of the preparatory division Weston Sprott (Trombone ’06).
