On October 20, the Curtis Symphony Orchestra returned to the stage for the first performance of the 2019-20 season in Verizon Hall. Curtis's conducting fellows led the first half of the concert, while Yannick Nézet-Séguin, music director of the Philadelphia Orchestra and mentor conductor on the Curtis faculty, led a selection of operatic favorites from Mozart's Così fan tutte and Le nozze di Figaro.
