About the Curtis Annual Fund
For the 2014-15 school year, Curtis Annual Fund gifts totaled $3,859,864, 21.4 percent of the school's $17,999,081 annual operating budget.
- Annual Fund contributors give Curtis the financial flexibility to meet all costs associated with providing the comprehensive education and training that prepares Curtis students to become tomorrow's legends.
- Curtis's policy of awarding every student a merit-based, full-tuition scholarship eliminates a traditional source of income. In the absence of tuition revenues, contributions from donors are critical to meeting the school's needs.
- Each donor's unrestricted gift is essential to fulfilling the school’s mission: to educate and train exceptionally gifted young musicians to engage a local and global community through the highest level of artistry.
All Annual Fund donors who contribute $75-$1,249 have the opportunity to be recognized as Friends of Curtis. Those who contribute $1,250 or more can elect to be honored as members of the Leopold Stokowski Society.
