Student Recital: Swan Songs and English Songs

Three distinct compositional voices reflected through the prism of mortality

This week’s recital includes Ernst von Dohnányi’s Passacaglia, a sprightly work for solo flute, followed by Frank Bridge’s wistful Three Songs for voice, viola, and piano. The performance concludes with a solo viola suite by late-Romantic Max Reger.
