About the Performers

Fiona Yangyue Cheen, from Jingzhou City, China, a student of Meng-Chieh Liu, is the Jean J. Sterne Fellow and entered Curtis in 2023.   

Corina Deng, from Vancouver, British Columbia, a student of Ida Kavafian, is a Curtis Institute of Music Fellow and entered Curtis in 2022.   

Alexander Heather, from Wells, England, a student of Edgar Meyer and Hal Robinson, is the Anthony B. Creamer III Fellow and entered Curtis in 2023.   

Hairui Lei, from Shanghai, a student of Shmuel Ashkenasi and Pamela Frank, is the Jean J. Sterne Fellow and entered Curtis in 2022.   

Emad Zolfaghari, from Oakville, Ontario, a student of Misha Amory and Hsin-Yun Huang, is the Elaine W. Camarda and A. Morris Williams Jr. Fellow and entered Curtis in 2021.
