Part of Curtis’s Institutional Advancement team, the Campaign Writer will craft proposals and provide primary support for stewardship and grant writing.

    • Research, write, and edit a wide range of philanthropic communications including but not limited to campaign materials, funding proposals, annual reports, stewardship reports, and web pages.
    • Develop persuasive narratives, articulating Curtis’s mission, achievements, and proposed project outcomes.
    • Organize fundraising and campaign information for effective presentation in publications and other media.
    • Assist the Advancement team in developing a cohesive voice for all donor communications.
    • Experience in philanthropic writing and content creation; experience working on prior fundraising campaigns is a plus.
    • Exceptional writing and proofreading skills
    • Ability to captivate and effectively present a case for support to funders, balancing storytelling with commentary
    • Capacity to balance competing priorities and manage up in a complex environment while maintaining a high level of confidentiality, quality, and accuracy
    • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 programs. Ability and willingness to learn other software programs as needed. Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge (or other constituent databases) and design skills are a plus.
