Curtis President Roberto Díaz and guitar faculty member Jason Vieaux join two Curtis students in a program of music for guitar and strings, including a new work by alumnus Zhou Tian.

Curtis On Tour 2011 (streamed performance)

Ignat Solzhenitsyn, Curtis alumnus and faculty member, along with two students, performed from coast-to-coast with a program featuring a commmissioned work by alumnus Daron Hagen.

Curtis On Tour in Europe 2009 (streamed performance)

Curtis President Roberto Díaz and Mikael Eliasen, Artistic Director of the Curtis Opera Theatre, joined students on a tour of Europe with a program that included works by Curtis alumni Samuel Barber and Ned Rorem and Curtis faculty member Richard Danielpour.

Philadelphia Orchestra principal double bass and faculty member Harold Hall Robinson and composer/narrator and alumnus David Ludwig appeared with Curtis students in Stravinsky’s L’Histoire du soldat and a world premiere by Dr. Ludwig.

The debut tour featured a string quartet of Curtis students with violist and Curtis President Roberto Díaz and alumna cellist Margo Tatgenhorst Drakos, in music by R. Strauss, Schoenberg, and Dvorak.
