Save the Dates for the 2017–18 season at Curtis!

 

We are excited to announce the Curtis Institute of Music's 2017–18 season! This season is full of compelling offerings, including the rarely performed opera A Quiet Place by alumnus Leonard Bernstein; intimate recitals featuring Sarah Shafer, Peter Wiley, Jonathan Biss, and other distinguished alumni and faculty; and Curtis Symphony Orchestra concerts led by renowned conductors from around the world. Be sure to mark your calendars—we look forward to seeing you this season!
 

Single tickets will be available for sale later this summer. Purchase information will be posted here as it becomes available.

The eighth blackbird residency continues with two performances (December 8 and 9) at Lenfest Hall by Curtis 20/21, the school's contemporary music ensemble. Matthias Pintscher conducts and co-curates the program, which includes his own compositions and works by Berio, Donatoni, and Schoenberg. {br} Curtis gratefully acknowledges Georges Markow-Totevy and the Markow-Totevy Foundation for its support of the 20/21 contemporary music program at Curtis.{br}
