Contemporary music sextet eighth blackbird shares the stage with Curtis students. The recital kicks off a three-year residency funded by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation designed to prepare students for 21st-century careers. eighth blackbird will be active members of the Curtis community, visiting, coaching, and performing with students throughout the year.
