Curtis Alumni

Curtis alumni, having experienced extraordinary one-on-one training and valuable performance opportunities as students, go on to outstanding musical careers around the world. They can be found in virtually every major orchestra in the United States and Canada; seventeen percent of the principal chairs in America's top twenty-five orchestras and four music directorships in the top fifty are held by Curtis-trained musicians, and more than sixty alumni have gone on to sing with the Metropolitan Opera. Many distinguished college music programs and music festivals claim Curtis alumni among their faculty, and numerous alumni have their own private teaching studios. Each season, orchestras, opera houses, and chamber music series boast Curtis alumni on their rosters and as guest artists.
