Symphony Orchestra concert led by Philadelphia Orchestra Music Director Wolfgang Sawallisch at the Academy of Music-the first time a student ensemble has performed with the conductor of a major American orchestra at that orchestra's main performance venue. A frequent collaborator with the Curtis Orchestra, Maestro Sawallisch rehearses the ensemble every year as part of the Institute's Visiting Artist Series.
