Under the baton of 1985 conducting alumnus Robert Spano, the Symphony Orchestra
of The Curtis Institute of Music made its debut in Verizon Hall in the Kimmel
Center, the new home of the Philadelphia Orchestra, on February 24. The
all-Ravel program included his rarely heard L'enfant et les sortilèges
with soloists from the Curtis Opera Theatre. |
