The Orchestra concludes its 75th-anniversary season with the world premieres of two commissions by alumnus Daron Hagen and alumna faculty member Jennifer Higdon, in a concert conducted by alumnus Robert Spano that also features Jaime Laredo as soloist. The concert is filmed by public television station WHYY for its four-part Philadelphia Performs series and was subsequently broadcast across the U.S.
