Annual Fund—Friends of Curtis
For the 2010–11 school year, Curtis Annual Fund gifts totaled $3,187,000, 26 percent of the school's $12.087 million annual operating budget.
Annual Fund contributors give Curtis the financial flexibility to meet all costs associated with providing the comprehensive education and training that prepares Curtis students to become tomorrow's legends.
All Annual Fund donors are recognized as Friends of Curtis. Those who contribute $1,250 or more are further honored as members of the Leopold Stokowski Society. Members of the Curtis Crescendo Club, a young group of Curtis fans and friends, are also encouraged to join the Friends of Curtis with a gift to the Annual Fund.
Gifts to Curtis can be made in honor of or in memory of someone.
All Annual Fund donors receive a variety of attractive benefits, including:
- opportunities to learn more about classical music in private, members-only settings
- discounts for Curtis performances
- exclusive social events
- opportunities to get to know Curtis’s talented students
Donors may also elect to waive their contribution benefits.
Among the numerous vounteers who help Curtis accomplish its ambitious Annual Fund goals are members of the Stokowski Society Committee and the Friends of Curtis Board.
