Planned Giving

Planned gifts help assure the continuation of the Curtis Institute of Music’s great musical traditions by helping the school build a stronger endowment.  Often, planned gifts also provide financial benefits to donors and their heirs. Planned gifts are a perfect way to help Curtis train the next generation of exceptionally gifted young musicians while achieving estate and financial-planning goals.

Those who make financial commitments to endow and name Curtis studios, faculty chairs, fellowships, or programs will be recognized today—and they are cherished and remembered tomorrow.

Those who include Curtis as a beneficiary under their wills, trusts, life insurance policies, retirement plans, and other estate-planning arrangements are recognized as members of Curtis’s Founder's Society.

Planned giving arrangements call for careful consideration and a complete assessment of your financial situation. Curtis encourages donors to consult an attorney, tax advisor, or financial advisor about the application of planned gifts to their particular situations. Curtis’s director of principal gifts and planned giving is happy to work with you and your professional advisors to identify options to achieve your charitable and financial goals.
