James F. Moyer
James F. Moyer received a Ph.D. in English literature from Princeton University and an M.A. in philosophy from the New School for Social Research. His dissertation, “The Passion of Abolitionism: How Slave Martyrdom Obscures Slave Labor,” examines the incongruity of abolitionist and worker-advocacy discourses in 18th- and 19th-century Anglophone debates over slavery.
Age of Anxiety: Studying existentialism offers insights into the modern era, writes James Moyer.
