Alumni Performances

Curtis alumni perform around the world, but we're always happy when they return to Rittenhouse Square.
In Philadelphia this season, Curtis-produced performances featuring alumni include:

The members of the Johannes Quartet—Soovin Kim, violin ('99); Jessica Lee, violin ('01); Choong-Jin Chang, viola ('92, '94); and Peter Stumpf, cello ('85)—cap off their weeklong residency at Curtis with a free performance with students.

Faculty member Joseph Silverstein (Violin '50) joins Jennifer Montone, horn, and students in the Beethoven Septet, Op. 20.

Curtis Symphony Orchestra: April 23
Robert Spano ('85) conducts, Juliette Kang (Violin ’91) and Efe Baltacigil (Cello ’02) perform the Brahms Double Concerto, and the program opens with a work by Jennifer Higdon (Composition '88).

Rossen Milanov ('94) conducts a program including a work by Leonard Bernstein (Conducting '41) at the Mann Music Center.
